About Me!

Daniel Ruescher is a writer, performer, and producer based in the NYC area.

With a background in improv & sketch comedy and a love of Shakespeare & musical theatre, he brings a heightened sensibility, a grounded presence, and a host of silly voices to his scenes.

Hailing from Lawn-GUY-Land, he has performed across the country as a member of the Georgetown Improv Association and the Denver-based indie team Mockumentary Now! He can be seen on the first and third Thursday of every month with Upper Yes Side! at The Reverie Room on W 72nd.

When he’s not performing onstage, Daniel can be found performing offstage, as all human interaction is inherently performative. He’s a Sagittarius, a lover (not a fighter), and he’s literally begging to coach your improv team.
